Self-Serve Integration & Carrier Onboarding

What we deliver
The Problem (Before)
Each new shipper, carrier, or TMS connection needs a scoped integration project: mapping spreadsheets passed back and forth, custom code, a services queue, and weeks of waiting before the first shipment flows. Onboarding capacity is capped by engineering availability, not customer demand.
Integration Lead, Carrier Network Manager, IT / Middleware Owner, Implementation Manager
The Outcome (After)
A guided wizard walks the customer or carrier through source selection, field mapping, validation, and a live test load. Mappings are suggested from network patterns, errors are explained in plain language, and go-live is a button — not a ticket.
Nobody else can pre-fill the mapping. The Graph has already seen this source system, this carrier, and this document format across the network.
How it works
A guided wizard replaces the integration project. The customer or carrier picks their source system, maps fields against a pre-filled suggestion, runs a validated test load, and promotes to production themselves.
- Source-system connectors for TMS, ERP, EDI, API, and flat file
- Field mapping pre-filled from network patterns, editable inline
- Automated test load with plain-language validation errors
- Self-service carrier invitations and SCAC bulk upload
- Promote-to-production without a service ticket

The wizard is only self-serve because the network has already solved this connection before. Every prior integration informs the next one.
- Mapping suggestions ranked by success rate for the same source system
- Integration failure patterns detected before the first live load
- Time-to-live benchmarks by carrier type, mode, and connection method

The mapping suggestions come from years of real integrations across the FourKites network — not from the software itself. Any provider can build a mapping screen; the accumulated network experience behind the suggestions is what can't be copied.
- Integration history built across the whole network, which a standalone system can't recreate on its own
- Carrier identity and connectivity already established for many new invitees
- Every completed integration improves the suggested defaults for the next one

Every connection is checked before it goes live, so the data feeding your Shipment Twin is clean from day one. You can see exactly where each onboarding stands, and the moment a connection is live, its first load shows up in the Twin.
- Each connection is validated against FourKites' data standards before go-live — no custom code required
- A guided checklist and an onboarding health score show progress and flag anything holding up go-live
- The first tracked load appears in your Shipment Twin as soon as the connection is live

Ask about onboarding status in plain English instead of chasing a spreadsheet of in-flight integrations.
- “Which carrier integrations are stalled in validation?”
- “How many connections went live this month without services?”
- Onboarding pipeline dashboard by stage, owner, and mode
